A 50% non-refundable reservation fee is due at the time of booking for all new clients and will be charged to the credit card provided when scheduling. This fee will be applied to the total cost of services if the appointment is kept. If the appointment is cancelled, the fee will be forfeited and a new reservation fee will be required to schedule another appointment. New clients can reschedule their appointment up to two times. If the appointment needs to be moved again after the second reschedule, the reservation fee will be forfeited and a new fee will be required to reschedule. If a late cancellation or no show occurs, the reservation fee will be applied toward any additional fees. If you would like to reserve your appointment using a gift card that was purchased prior to 2020, please contact us directly to schedule.

A debit/credit card must be on file in order to reserve an appointment. It will only be charged in the event of a late cancellation/arrival or no show. Removing payment information from your profile may result in cancellation of all prebooked appointments without notice.

Appointments must be rescheduled or cancelled at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee equal to half the cost of the scheduled service(s). Failure to arrive without notice or cancelling within 3 hours of the scheduled appointment will result in a charge equal to the total cost of the scheduled service(s). In the event we are unable to collect a late cancellation or no show fee using the client’s card on file, the client will be blocked from scheduling future appointments until the outstanding balance is paid. Past due balances will increase by 1% each day until the invoice is paid.

A late arrival will result in a shortened service. If the service cannot be shortened or the client is more than 10 minutes late despite the length of the scheduled services, the appointment will be cancelled and the total cost of the scheduled service(s) will be charged to the credit card on file. When running behind, please notify The Skin Bar as soon as possible to be sure your appointment can still be accommodated.

We do not allow changes to scheduled services or the transfer of appointments to another client within the 48 hour cancellation window.

Children that are not receiving services and other additional guests are not permitted with the exception of the following: 1. a parent/guardian accompanying a minor who is receiving services, 2. a client who requires a translator or assistance due to a disability.

We reserve the right to decline service to a client after repeated cancellations or inability to adhere to these policies.
